When my neighbor was looking at used cars to buy, I suggested he have a pre-purchase inspection done on a vehicle he was interested in. I stopped in at George's to ask if they offered a used car pre-purchase inspection, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that they offer this service for only $21.95 They inspect the entire vehicle, top to bottom including removing the wheels to inspect the brakes. The benefit is a detailed report that lists any needed repairs or service on the vehicle. If the vehicle needs too much attention, the customer may wish to find another vehicle, or if the vehicle needs minor attention, they may choose to use the cost estimate as a bargaining chip to persuade the seller to lower the asking price. Georges impressed me as being very knowledgeable and professional, not to mention reasonably priced.
