My wife and I just recently moved here a few months ago. My truck was having trouble starting from time to time so I decided to bring it in to George's for a diagnostic. They called back telling me I had a bad terminal on my battery and the starter was damaged due to that. I was quoted a little north of 950$ for them both installed and a 18 month warranty on the parts and labor. I decided to pick the vehicle up and do the work myself as I found that quote to be quite high. Before doing the work myself, I decided to call a couple other shops. The next highest quote was 675$. I ended up getting the work done elsewhere with a 2 year warranty for 605$. Though I liked the workers, I felt I was being taken to the ringer. The diagnostic was correct but the price was outrageous.
Hello Mike I am confused with your response. You picked the vehicle up late last night and this review came in early this morning. I have no I idea who could have taken care of your starter that late at night??? Regarding the warranty, the battery would have an 18 month free replacement but all of our repairs come with a 3 year 36,000 month nationwide warranty.
